Personal Information Protection Policy
This document contains important information about using this service. Please read this document carefully and make your application after you have understood it. In addition, please read the “IDA Japan International Money Transfer Service Terms and Conditions” carefully, as they also contain information about the terms and conditions of the transaction, etc., in addition to the information contained in this document.
<Regarding the prevention of mistaken recognition>
Please note the following points when using the service.
(1) This service is not a foreign exchange transaction conducted by a bank, etc.
(2) This service does not involve the Company accepting deposits, savings, or fixed installments (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the Banking Act).
(3) This service is not covered by insurance payments as stipulated in Article 53 of the Deposit Insurance Act or Article 55 of the Agricultural and Fishery Cooperative Savings Insurance Act.
(4) We will make a performance bond deposit with the Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau to secure the refund claim rights of the client of this service (the type of money transfer business we operate is Type 2 money transfer business. The calculation period for the deposit is one week, and if it is necessary to make an additional deposit, it will be made within three working days from Monday as the base date.
<Maximum Amount of Money Transfer>
- The maximum amount of money transfer for one transaction of this service is 500,000 yen. In addition, if the total amount of money transfer for one day exceeds 1,000,000 yen when the same member transfers money to the same destination multiple times on the same day, the money transfer request cannot be accepted.
<Exchange Rate>
- The exchange rate is set by our company at the start of each business day. The rate is set by adding 0.45 yen to 1.5 yen to the Hana Bank remittance rate (TTM). However, this may change during business hours depending on the situation.
- When the Company returns the funds to the Member in a currency different from the currency of the funds transferred, the rate stipulated in Article 1 shall apply on the date of processing the return procedure.
- If the exchange rate results in a fraction of less than one unit of currency in the amount of the funds transferred, the fraction of less than one unit of currency shall be rounded down.
<Standard Execution Period>
- The standard execution period for money transfers using this service is one hour from the time when our company receives the money transfer application from the member and confirms the money transfer funds have been deposited, but there may be cases where it takes longer to complete the money transfer due to the business hours of the financial institution related to the receiving account, regulatory requirements, weather and telecommunications line conditions, and other circumstances.
<Remittance fees, etc.>
- The remittance fees and other fees for this service shall be as specified below.
- In the event of a reversal or cancellation, the member shall pay the reversal fee, refund fee, cancellation fee, and transfer fee to the member’s bank account as specified below. In this case, the remittance fee specified in the preceding paragraph shall not be refunded.

<Contract period, handling of cancellations during the contract period>
1.There is no set period of validity for membership registration. However, if you do not use the service for a year from the date of your last use of the service, your membership registration will be terminated. In addition, we reserve the right to cancel your membership registration in the following cases
(1) If you violate these Terms of Use
(2) If there are any false entries in your application details or registration information
(3) If the applicant or member is a minor, an adult ward, a person subject to a conservatorship, or a person subject to a limited guardianship, and the registration procedure was not carried out by the adult ward, or if the legal representative, conservator, or assistant did not give their consent at the time of registration.
(4) If the Company deems it inappropriate to register or continue to register the member for any other reason
2. There is no charge for the registration fee, annual fee or handling fee for the creation of the membership card or for canceling the membership before the end of the contract period.

<Performance Bond>
- In accordance with Article 43 of the Payment Services Act, we will deposit a performance bond calculated in the prescribed manner with the Tokyo Legal Affairs Bureau to secure our obligations to the remitter.If we are unable to repay our obligations, the remitter has the right to receive repayment of the performance bond before other debtors of our company (hereinafter referred to as the “right to claim repayment”).
- The right to claim a refund shall belong to the remitter until the recipient actually receives the money transfer. Once the recipient has actually received the money transfer, the remitter may not exercise the right to claim a refund.
- If any of the events prescribed in Article 59, Paragraph 2 of the Payment Services Act occurs, the remitter may receive a refund of the performance guarantee money through the refund procedures prescribed in the same article.
- In the event of the circumstances described in the preceding paragraph, the payee of the Service will not be able to receive the remittance. If the payee of the Service receives the remittance and the circumstances described in the preceding paragraph arise and the refund procedure is carried out, the remitter must return to our company the amount equivalent to the performance guarantee money that has been refunded.
<Compensation Policy for Fraudulent Transactions>
In the event that a member incurs a loss as a result of instructions being given by a person who does not have the authority to do so, contrary to the member’s wishes, we will not, in principle, compensate the member for the loss incurred. However, in the event that fraudulent transactions are carried out due to reasons for which our company is responsible, we will consider compensation separately.
