Basic Policy on Anti-Social Forces
In Article 2 of the “Rules on Basic Policy on Compliance, etc.”,
Our company has established its basic stance on corporate defense against anti-social forces.

In order to realize this code, we declare the following “Basic Policy on Dealing with Antisocial Forces”.
I. We will respond to any unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces as a whole organization, including the representative director. II. We will ensure the safety of employees who respond to unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces. III. In preparation for any improper demands made by antisocial forces, we will build close cooperative relationships with external specialist organizations (such as the National Center for the Elimination of Boryokudan, the police, and lawyers) on a regular basis. IV. We will not have any relationship with antisocial forces, including business relationships. We will also reject any improper demands made by antisocial forces. V. If we have any relationship with antisocial forces without knowing it, we will immediately terminate the relationship after discovering it. VI. We will take legal action against any unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces, both civil and criminal. VII. Even if the unreasonable demands made by antisocial forces are based on misconduct in business activities or misconduct by employees, we will never engage in any backroom deals to cover up the matter. VIII.We will never provide funds or convenience to antisocial forces. |
In addition, “anti-social forces” refers to groups or individuals that use violence, coercion and fraudulent methods to pursue economic gain, and includes organized crime groups, companies with organized crime group ties, corporate extortionists, social movement advocates, political activity advocates, and special intelligence violence groups, as well as corporations or individuals that make violent demands or make unreasonable demands that exceed legal liability.
